My name is Elena Canabal, my artistic name is Serezade.

I live and work in Madrid. I have a degree in Law and International Relations and I am a student in Fine Arts. My works aim to capture the essence of abstraction and colour.I play with shapes and colours, creating unique compositions that are totally impossible in reality.

The "imperfeart" project arose in 2022 as a result of the opposition to the beauty of realism; it aims to provoke the questioning of reality: where does authenticity lie?. All the illustrations are the result of the search for the sense of beauty of being through imperfection. Images inspired by chaos, the complexity of being, the magic of childhood and the revolution of colour. They try to create stories and, fundamentally, sensations.Through abstraction, I play with the diversity of interpretations to make it difficult to delineate reality from fiction. In doing so, I enable the audience to enter my mind, which sometimes reminds them of the experience of immersing themselves in the dream world.
